We collect information you provide directly when creating your account (name, email address), composing messages, and managing your subscription. We also collect technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, and device information, to maintain security and improve our service. We use Clerk for authentication, which processes your credentials securely. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never store your credit card details on our servers.

We use your information to provide and maintain the One Final Message service: delivering your scheduled messages to designated recipients, processing your subscription payments, sending you account notifications and check-in reminders, and improving the reliability of our platform. We analyze aggregate, anonymized usage data through Statsig to understand how our features perform, but we never use your personal data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

We share your information only when necessary to provide our service. This includes sharing with our service providers (Cloudflare for hosting, Clerk for authentication, Stripe for payments, Mailgun/SendGrid/Resend for email delivery, and Twilio/Sinch for SMS delivery). When your message is delivered, the recipient receives only the message content and your name — never your email, phone number, or account details. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global edge network using encrypted storage. All data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. Your messages are stored in isolated, per-user encrypted containers that even our team cannot access. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and messages are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through your account settings. You can export your data, update your contact details, or delete your account entirely. If you're in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to data portability and the right to restrict or object to certain processing. We use essential cookies to keep you securely logged in and remember your language preference. If you arrive through a referral or affiliate link, we also set a small number of attribution cookies that record which link brought you here so we can apply the correct discount at checkout. These attribution cookies are secure, cannot be read by scripts in your browser, and expire after 30 days. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. One Final Message is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly.
